The New Cars: In May 2006 The New Cars featuring front man Todd Rundgren held tech rehearsals at Mid-America before beginning their spring/summer tour. This was the first full use of our Tech/Rehearsal space. We would like to thank Christie Lights, XL Video, The New Cars Management Team, and all other crew members involved for a very smooth week of tech, prep and rehearsals. For the Tour Mid-America provided a 60 box L-Acoustics system including V-Dosc main elements, dV-dosc, SB-218’s and ARCS. Two PM5D’s were provided for both the FOH and monitor positions.
